Last week, CBS’ Director, Dr. Joyce Tu, attended the 2019 Women in Behavior Analysis (WIBA) conference in Music City—Nashville, along with five CBS Behavior Consultants and staff. Dr. Tu presented a CBS-sponsored talk and networking session titled, “Finding Comfort and Self Care in Our Professional World.” Dr. Tu’s talk centered on managing work-related stress in behavior analysis professions. CBS also presented a morning yoga class. It was a stimulating conference with many inspiring speakers, and it was great seeing everyone!
WIBA’s mission is to empower, celebrate and mentor women behavior analysts and highlight their contributions to the field. The annual conference allows meaningful discourse on gender equality to promote behavior analysis and professional growth. CBS is proud of its involvement with WIBA and its ongoing contributions to the behavior analysis community.
