Global Infant Program

This is a specialized program for children under three years of age, who display developmental delays and require multidisciplinary services. These intensive services typically take place in one of our Irvine Centers, and are designed to shape behavior at an early stage. Early intervention attempts to reduce or eliminate the need for future services.

Numerous scientific studies, confirmed in meta-analysis, have shown the effectiveness of early intensive behavioral intervention for young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), including improved IQ-based performance, non-verbal IQ, expressive and receptive language, and adaptive behavior.  (Peters-Scheffer, et al., 2011.)   Increases in adaptive behavior (and decreases in maladaptive behavior) have also been widely shown when early intervention is delivered in community settings.  (Eikeseth, et al., 2012.)

Please note that all CBS services are by appointment only.  Feel free to contact us to learn more, or to schedule a visit!
