Alex Silva, M.A., BCBA
Alex is a CBS Clinical Manager
Alex Silva is a master’s-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over nine years’ experience providing training and supervision for behavior therapists and parents, and working directly with individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. He has been working for CBS since 2008.
While Alex was an undergraduate student at the University of California, Irvine, he volunteered in the UCI Initiative for the Development of Attention and Readiness (CUIDAR). The CUIDAR project provides parent training and social skills intervention to young children with active or disruptive behaviors. In the program, Alex learned and applied basic applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. He saw the positive behavior change resulting from ABA and was hooked!
Alex completed his bachelor’s degree at Cal State University, Fullerton in 2006; and his Master of Science in Professional Applied Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology in 2016. That same year, Alex became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
